About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients while building your professional skills through hands-on experience.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and maintain pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Collaborate with the team to foster a culture of empathy, compassion, and energy.
- Complete all required training within the designated state guidelines and timeframes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immunization eligibility are preferred.
