About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a retail pharmacy environment. You will assist in patient care, inventory management, and workflow operations. This role focuses on delivering care to patients while you gain professional experience in a pharmacy setting.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and manage patient care programs.
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment by following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Display empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to improve outcomes and maintain a positive culture.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Assist with pharmacy tasks including inventory management and workflow coordination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright, reach, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
