About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering care to patients and managing the pharmacy environment while gaining professional experience. This is a part-time, paid position with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment while adhering to regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Deliver care to patients and provide customer service.
- Manage pharmacy workflow and inventory.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to support customer health.
- Lead with empathy and help foster a team culture of energy and enthusiasm.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Perform quality assurance tasks.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright and mobile for extended periods, including reaching, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
