About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will play a part in creating a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment while delivering care to patients. This is a part-time position.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and provide customer service.
- Focus on patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, and quality assurance.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to keep patients healthy.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with your team and align others around the company purpose.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain mobile and upright for extended periods.
- Physical ability to reach overhead, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Finger dexterity for typing and handling items.
- Visual acuity for reading and inspecting small parts.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Location: Pasadena, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- This position is paid and part-time.
