About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing patient care programs, and supporting the pharmacy team. This position focuses on professional growth and contributing to the quality of health care services.
What you'll do#
- Deliver care to patients and manage patient care programs.
- Model empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better outcomes and align others around our purpose.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Assist with patient safety, pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and workflow management.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, stoop, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
- Ability to lift, scan, and bag items, including occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.
- Close visual acuity for tasks like reading and data entry.
- Ability to orally communicate information to customers and colleagues.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
