About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the retail pharmacy team. You will help ensure a safe and effective work environment while delivering care to patients. This is a part-time position based in Tabernacle, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
- Handle pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance.
- Assist with inventory and workflow management.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver positive health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Zero to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and remain upright for extended periods.
- Capability to perform physical tasks such as reaching, stooping, and using finger dexterity for precision work.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
