About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, modeling company values, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy.
- Oversee patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and workflow management.
- Handle inventory and provide customer service.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Align the team around company goals and facilitate a positive culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines and timeframes.
- Regular, predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for long periods, lift, scan, and bag items.
- Manual dexterity for precision tasks and the ability to reach overhead or stoop as needed.
- Visual acuity for reading, transcribing, and inspecting small parts.
- Ability to orally communicate instructions clearly to others.
