About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern at CVS Health, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will play a part in the pharmacy team to deliver care and model company values. This is a part-time position based in Bridgewater, New Jersey.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment.
- Deliver care to patients and support customer service.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, excluding final prescription verification.
- Support inventory management, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Lead with empathy and help facilitate a positive team culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Physical requirements include finger dexterity, reaching overhead, and stooping.
- Visual acuity for tasks such as reading and visual inspection.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
