About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting your pharmacy team. This position is part-time and offers the opportunity to gain professional experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, inventory, and quality assurance tasks.
- Support patient care programs and provide immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Provide customer service and communicate information to patients and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to promote a positive culture and deliver better health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in Bensalem, Pennsylvania.
- The role is part-time with a rolling application term.
