About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you play a critical role in delivering care and modeling company values. You will work under the supervision of a preceptor, where required by state law, to support the pharmacy team and ensure patients receive quality care. This role provides an opportunity to gain professional experience and contribute to healthcare outcomes in a community setting.
What you'll do#
- Participate in all aspects of the prescription filling process.
- Provide patient counseling and answer questions for pharmacy and front store customers.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide coordinated patient care.
- Offer health screenings and immunizations when appropriate.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and maintain regulatory compliance.
- Support patient safety initiatives and pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Motivate your team, identify business opportunities, and implement solutions to improve performance.
- Adapt to changes and stay current on new developments, training, and initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a School of Pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in the state of employment.
- No pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.
- Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.

- Location: Upland, California.
- Employment type: Part-time.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $16.00 - $23.10 per hour, depending on experience and year in pharmacy school.
