About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the operations of our retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment while delivering care to patients. This role focuses on professional growth and contributing to our pharmacy team.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Deliver care to each patient and support regulatory requirements.
- Perform quality assurance and inventory management tasks.
- Assist with workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to improve outcomes and promote a positive culture.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity.
- Capacity to reach overhead, stoop, and move items between low and high positions.
- Visual acuity for reading, transcribing, and viewing computer terminals.
- Immunization eligibility.

- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
