About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work as part of the pharmacy team to support patient health. Under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, you will help maintain a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering care, managing pharmacy operations, and supporting patient care programs.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
- Manage patient safety, professional practice, and regulatory requirements.
- Handle quality assurance, customer service, and inventory management tasks.
- Support workflow management, excluding final prescription verification.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to improve outcomes and promote a caring culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift, scan, bag items, and reach overhead.
- Finger dexterity and precision control for handling small items.
- Ability to stoop and bend as needed.
- Visual acuity for reading, transcribing, and visual inspection.
- Ability to orally communicate information clearly.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
