About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on delivering care to patients while building your professional experience. You will contribute to daily operations and gain hands-on knowledge of pharmacy practice.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to patients and customers.
- Manage pharmacy workflows, inventory, and quality assurance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain patient safety.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to improve health outcomes.
- Support a positive team culture through empathy and collaboration.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations and training requirements are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Dexterity for tasks like typing, picking, and scanning items.
- Completion of all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and immunization eligibility are preferred.

- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
