About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will apply your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. You will complete a comprehensive training roadmap designed to prepare you for a future role as a Pharmacist. This program provides hands-on experience across pharmacy operations while you work under the direction of a preceptor.
What you'll do#
- Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at all workstations to ensure safe and accurate prescription fulfillment.
- Support the pharmacy team in delivering our brand promise and contributing to a positive patient experience.
- Offer to counsel patients and field medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify medication details.
- Provide coaching and training to pharmacy team members.
- Perform basic inventory activities, such as processing deliveries and cycle counts.
- Deliver patient health care services, including immunizations, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Comply with all federal, state, and local laws along with company policies.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
- Preferred: Ability to become immunization certified.
- Preferred: Flexibility to work at your home store and other locations within the market.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
