About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and maintain a safe retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on helping patients manage prescriptions and health conditions while contributing to a positive team culture. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
What you'll do#
- Deliver patient care programs and advise patients on prescriptions and condition management.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a team environment that promotes energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Ensure a safe and effective work environment by following regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Collaborate with the team to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations allow.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or the ability to obtain it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Completion of all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
