About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will help patients manage their health by adopting and managing patient care programs. This role requires you to lead with empathy, collaborate with your team, and align with our purpose of improving access to quality care.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to every patient.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Model empathy, compassion, and pride within the team.
- Seek new ways to grow and improve outcomes.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Assist with patient safety, pharmacy practice, and workflow management.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work nights and weekends with regular attendance.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency with finger dexterity for typing and picking items.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.

- Location: Kansas City, Kansas.
- Employment type: Part-time.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Pay range: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
