About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering care to patients, managing pharmacy workflows, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role focuses on maintaining a safe environment while providing service to patients and customers.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy work environment.
- Deliver care to each patient with empathy and compassion.
- Participate in patient safety, professional practice, and regulatory compliance activities.
- Manage pharmacy workflow, quality assurance, and inventory.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver positive outcomes and promote a culture of care.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or acceptance into an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs, remain upright for extended periods, and perform reaching, stooping, and bending motions.
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and transcribing.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
