About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. This role focuses on delivering patient care, maintaining a safe work environment, and helping manage patient care programs. You will contribute to our pharmacy team by modeling our values and providing genuine care to patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
What you'll do#
- Provide patient care and manage clinical programs to keep customers healthy.
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy work environment.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients and team members.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy team to deliver positive health outcomes.
- Facilitate a culture of energy, enthusiasm, and pride within the pharmacy.
- Administer patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Complete all required training and maintain necessary licensure within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for long periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision control.
- Ability to stoop, reach, and move items between low and high positions.
- Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and transcribing.
