About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. You will play a key role in delivering patient care, modeling company values, and ensuring a safe environment for our customers. This is a part-time position that offers the opportunity to gain professional experience in a clinical setting.
What you'll do#
- Maintain a safe and effective pharmacy environment by managing workflows, inventory, and quality assurance.
- Provide direct support for pharmacy professional practice and regulatory compliance.
- Manage and adopt patient care programs to help customers maintain their health.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and team members.
- Foster a team culture centered on energy, enthusiasm, and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Current intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 20 pounds, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and reaching.
- Ability to complete all required training within state-mandated timeframes.
