About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a part in delivering care to patients, managing daily pharmacy operations, and contributing to a team culture focused on health and patient service.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and maintain pharmacy professional practice standards.
- Manage inventory and pharmacy workflow.
- Handle regulatory requirements and quality assurance tasks.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Lead with empathy and collaborate with your team to deliver positive outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work nights and weekends with regular attendance.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and precision control.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
