About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will assist in delivering patient care, maintaining a safe work environment, and managing pharmacy workflows. This role is designed to help you gain professional experience while contributing to our goal of improving patient health outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care and service to patients and customers.
- Support pharmacy operations, including inventory management and workflow tasks, excluding final prescription verification.
- Manage patient care programs to help customers stay healthy.
- Maintain high standards for patient safety and regulatory compliance.
- Lead with empathy and compassion while fostering a positive team culture.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, caregivers, and patients.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to complete all training within state guidelines.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 20 lbs, reaching overhead, stooping, and bending.
- Availability for a schedule that includes nights and weekends.

- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
