About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support our retail pharmacy operations. This role focuses on delivering patient care, maintaining a safe work environment, and supporting the pharmacy team in daily tasks. You will gain professional experience while helping patients manage their health.
What you'll do#
- Demonstrate empathy and care for patients, customers, and colleagues.
- Manage patient care programs to help keep our community healthy.
- Assist with inventory, workflow management, and quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and pharmacy professional practices.
- Facilitate a team culture that promotes energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver consistent outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, reach overhead, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and close visual acuity.
