About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients and supporting the pharmacy team. This position involves modeling company values and providing authentic care to every patient you serve.
What you'll do#
- Manage patient care programs and support inventory and workflow tasks.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes.
- Foster a culture of enthusiasm and pride within the pharmacy.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to complete all required training within state guidelines.
- Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, and perform tasks requiring precision control, finger dexterity, and reaching.
- Visual acuity for tasks such as reading, transcribing, and viewing computer terminals.
- Ability to orally communicate instructions to colleagues and customers.

- Location: Charlotte, North Carolina.
- Employment type: Part-time.
- Pay range: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- Work modality: On-site.
