About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. This role focuses on patient care, safety, and professional practice. You will assist in managing pharmacy workflows, inventory, and patient care programs while modeling a culture of empathy and collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Ensure patient safety and maintain quality assurance standards.
- Manage pharmacy inventory and daily workflow operations.
- Support the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion when interacting with patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Foster a positive team culture that promotes energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Align your daily work with company goals and collaborate with your team to deliver better health outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Visual acuity for tasks such as reading, transcribing, and viewing computer terminals.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Location: Kennebunk, Maine.
- This is a part-time, on-site position.
- This role is paid and includes eligibility for benefits such as dental, vision, and wellness resources depending on hours worked.
