About the role#
As a pharmacy intern, you work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of our retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment while delivering care to patients. This role is part-time and offers the chance to gain professional experience while completing your pharmacy education.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment.
- Deliver care to patients and assist with patient care programs.
- Model empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and your team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve positive health outcomes.
- Foster a team culture that values energy and pride.
- Provide patient immunizations once you meet state regulations.
- Perform physical tasks including scanning, bagging items, and moving inventory.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach overhead, and stoop.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Immunization eligibility is preferred.

- Compensation: $20.50 - $24.25 per hour.
