About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment. You will play a key role in delivering care to patients, managing pharmacy workflows, and supporting the team in daily operations. This position allows you to gain professional experience while contributing to the health and well-being of our community.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy work environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
- Manage pharmacy tasks including inventory, workflow, and regulatory compliance.
- Support the adoption and management of patient care programs.
- Provide patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver better health outcomes and promote a positive, energetic culture.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining one.
- Between 0 and 3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, reach, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Completion of all required training within state guidelines.
- Immunization eligibility.
