About the role#
As a Pharmacy Intern, you will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to support the daily operations of a retail pharmacy. You will assist in maintaining a safe environment and delivering care to patients. This role focuses on patient safety, regulatory compliance, and inventory management.
What you'll do#
- Provide exceptional care to every patient.
- Adopt and manage patient care programs.
- Lead with empathy and compassion for patients, caregivers, and colleagues.
- Collaborate with the team to improve health outcomes.
- Facilitate a positive team culture.
- Administer patient immunizations once state regulations are met.
- Complete all required training within state guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an ACPE accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- 0-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to remain upright for extended periods, lift up to 20 lbs, reach overhead, and perform tasks requiring finger dexterity and visual acuity.
- Immunization eligibility and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.

- Location: Weddington, North Carolina.
- Employment Type: Part-time, on-site.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $23.75 per hour.
- This position is eligible for benefits including dental, vision, and wellness resources depending on hours worked.
