About the role#
The Mental Well-being Operations team manages the systems and strategies that deliver behavioral health services to our members. This 11-week internship runs from May 24, 2027, to August 4, 2027. You will work across various operational functions, including workforce management, compliance, training, and business technology. This role is designed to help you build skills in analytics, project management, and strategic thinking while contributing to initiatives that improve member experiences.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic initiatives focused on operational excellence and digital transformation.
- Analyze business data to identify trends and support decision making.
- Collaborate with leaders on project planning, process improvement, and change management.
- Create reports, presentations, and updates for leadership teams.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to meet business goals.
- Build professional relationships through mentorship, networking, and workshops.
- Engage in community service activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and June 2028.
- A relevant major such as Business Administration, Public Health, Operations Management, Psychology, Health Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
- Interest in healthcare operations and process improvement.
- Previous leadership experience or internship/project work in a related field is preferred.
- Interest in pursuing a full-time position with the company after graduation.

Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship based in Hartford, Connecticut.
- The role follows a hybrid model, requiring three days per week in the office (typically Tuesday through Thursday) and two days of remote work.
- Candidates must be able to work 40 hours per week.
