About the role#
This International Pharmacy Intern position is designed for foreign-trained graduates to complete their required US internship hours. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to build the knowledge and skills necessary for US pharmacist licensure. This is a full-time, on-site role with a rolling term.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective retail pharmacy environment.
- Process prescriptions, including translating SIG codes, selecting products, and labeling.
- Manage inventory according to company policies and procedures.
- Counsel customers under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Support the pharmacy manager in motivating and developing pharmacy support staff.
What you'll need#
- Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent degree from a non-US accredited school of pharmacy.
- Successful completion of the FPGEE and TOEFL exams.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in Mississippi.
- Ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally.

- Compensation: Paid position.
- Note: This role requires completion of internship hours within 18 months and pharmacist licensure within 120 days of completing those hours.
