About the role#
This is a 10.5-week full-time summer internship focused on software engineering within our platform and applications division. You will work on software solutions that support our customers, members, providers, and colleagues. This program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 4, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Develop features for web or mobile applications.
- Build and maintain APIs and microservices.
- Manage deployment pipelines and automate testing processes.
- Deploy applications into cloud environments.
- Improve the reliability and performance of existing applications.
- Engage with senior leadership and participate in mentorship or networking events.
- Take part in professional development workshops, the Leadership Insight Series, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Your expected graduation date falls between September 2027 and August 2028.
- You have experience or interest in application, web, mobile, API, or platform development.
- Technical familiarity with languages and tools such as Java, Python, JavaScript, React, Angular, TypeScript, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Git, CI/CD, or cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- An interest in AI, automation, generative AI, and low-code or no-code tools.
- Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, sports, or project work.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- An interest in pursuing a full-time position with the company after graduation.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role. You will work from the office three days per week and remotely for the remaining two days.
- Office locations include Scottsdale, AZ; Dallas, TX; Hartford, CT; and Woonsocket, RI.
- This position is full-time and does not offer visa sponsorship.
