About the role#
This is a 10.5-week full-time internship program running from May 24, 2027, to August 4, 2027. You will work on projects within a business area to gain experience in general management. This role is designed to sharpen your management skills and build your understanding of the healthcare system. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time roles, including the General Management Development Program.
What you'll do#
- Lead or contribute to projects aligned with your assigned business area.
- Focus on project management, business consultation, and strategic thinking.
- Interact with senior leaders and participate in mentorship opportunities.
- Engage in professional development workshops and career exploration activities.
- Participate in community service activities.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and July 2028.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Public Health, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications, or Psychology.
- Demonstrated leadership experience through student organizations, sports, or work projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be outcomes-focused and work as a collaborative team member.
- Interest in applying for the full-time General Management Development Program after graduation.
- Previous internship or work experience in business or healthcare is preferred.
- Note: Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Location & details#
- This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) in an office.
- Office locations: Hartford, Connecticut; Dallas, Texas; or Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
- You must be willing to relocate to one of these office locations.
- The pay rate is $26 per hour for 40 hours per week.
- The program includes two days of paid leave and no work on July 4th.
