About the role#
As a US Accredited Foreign Graduate, you will complete a rigorous learning experience designed to build upon your Doctor of Pharmacy education. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to develop your clinical knowledge, practice management skills, and leadership abilities. The goal of this program is to prepare you to pass all required pharmacist licensure exams and processes within 120 days of your start date.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment while delivering exceptional patient care.
- Process prescriptions, including translation of SIG codes, product selection, drug labeling, and manual claim resolution.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with putting away drug orders.
- Deliver health care services such as point-of-care testing and immunization preparation.
- Counsel patients under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Support the pharmacy manager in motivating and developing support staff.
- Greet customers professionally and assist with their questions or concerns.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and company standards.
- Participate in store operational meetings and complete all required training programs.
What you'll need#
- A degree from a US fully accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in South Carolina.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure in South Carolina within 120 days of your start date.
- Strong communication, presentation, and active listening skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Eligibility to immunize.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance, including nights and weekends.
- Ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs of force occasionally.
- Skills in results orientation, conflict resolution, and emotional intelligence.
