About the role#
This position is for foreign-educated pharmacy graduates looking to complete their required US internship hours. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to apply your education to real-world practice. The goal is to prepare you for a pharmacist role through a structured learning plan. You must complete your internship within 18 months and obtain pharmacist licensure in your state within 120 days of finishing your required hours.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy teams by following company standard operating procedures at all workstations.
- Manage prescription fulfillment across production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Provide patient care by showing empathy, answering medical questions, and counseling under pharmacist supervision.
- Take telephonic prescriptions and clarify details with prescribers.
- Coach and mentor pharmacy team members while sharing best practices.
- Handle basic inventory tasks like cycle counts and returns.
- Educate patients about vaccines, support immunization services, and monitor for adverse reactions.
- Travel to different stores in the market to work shifts as business needs require.
What you'll need#
- Graduation from a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- FPGEC certification.
- Valid intern or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to complete all required training within the designated timeframe.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- At least 1 year of work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service settings.
- Ability to become immunization certified.

- Location: Westminster, Colorado.
- This is a full-time, on-site role.
- Employment is subject to the successful completion of internship hours and state pharmacist licensure requirements.
