About the role#
As a US Accredited Foreign Graduate, you will complete a learning experience designed to build upon your Doctor of Pharmacy education. You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist to provide patient care and support pharmacy operations. This role requires you to obtain pharmacist licensure in South Carolina within 120 days of your start date.
What you'll do#
- Ensure a safe and effective pharmacy environment while maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Process prescriptions, including translating SIG codes and resolving third-party rejections.
- Counsel patients under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Support the pharmacy manager in motivating and developing support staff.
- Manage inventory and maintain stock levels according to company policies.
- Deliver health care services such as immunizations, as allowed by state regulation.
- Perform register transactions and assist customers with questions or concerns.
- Identify business opportunities and lead your team to achieve performance goals.
What you'll need#
- A Doctorate (PharmD) from a US accredited school of pharmacy.
- An active Pharmacy Intern license in South Carolina.
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift and exert up to 20 lbs. occasionally and 10 lbs. frequently.
- Availability to work a schedule that includes nights and weekends.
- Strong communication, active listening, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Eligibility to immunize is preferred.
