About the role#
As an International Pharmacy Intern, you will complete your required US internship hours while applying your pharmacy school education to real-world practice. This program is designed to prepare you for a Pharmacist role by deepening your clinical knowledge and business acumen. You will work under the direction of a preceptor to complete a structured learning plan. Successful completion of the program is required within 18 months, with the goal of obtaining pharmacist licensure within 120 days of finishing your intern hours.
What you'll do#
- Support pharmacy operations by following company standard operating procedures at every workstation.
- Perform workflow procedures including production, pick-up, drive-thru, and drop-off.
- Counsel patients, field medical questions, and solicit medical history under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers and clarify medication details.
- Provide patient health care services, including point-of-care testing and administering vaccines as a Technician Immunizer.
- Coach, train, and mentor pharmacy team members.
- Manage basic inventory activities such as cycle counts, returns, and putting away deliveries.
- Contribute to a positive patient experience by showing empathy and solving patient problems.
What you'll need#
- Foreign Graduate degree from a non-US accredited college or school of pharmacy.
- FPGEC certification.
- Valid intern and/or technician licensure, or be in the process of obtaining it.
- Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure in New Jersey within 120 days of completing US intern hours.
- At least 1 year of work experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
- Ability to become immunization certified.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.

- Location: Secaucus, New Jersey.
- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
- Schedule requires flexibility, including nights and weekends.
