About the role#
Creighton University is hiring a full-time Executive Assistant to support the Office of Student Life. This position ensures the efficient and professional operation of the office while serving as the primary point of contact for students, parents, and campus partners. The role requires a commitment to maintaining a welcoming, inclusive, and service-oriented environment.
What you'll do#
- Oversee daily office operations, including the supervision of student reception staff.
- Coordinate divisional events and assist with hiring, onboarding, and training processes.
- Manage shared calendars, meeting logistics, office supplies, and internal conference rooms.
- Maintain and reconcile departmental budgets, process financial transactions, and assist with financial reporting while ensuring compliant record-keeping.
- Handle sensitive and confidential student information in accordance with FERPA guidelines and university policies.
- Compose correspondence and reports, manage shared documentation systems, and support website and social media updates.
- Coordinate communications across various campus units.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of administrative experience.
- Demonstrated customer service focus with the ability to resolve conflict.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated commitment to Creighton’s Mission and Ignatian values.
