This internship supports the Operations team within the M&A department. You will assist with marketing-related initiatives for label partners, helping to execute and coordinate efforts across content creation, creator partnerships, paid advertising, and performance tracking. This is a part-time, paid position designed for students during the Summer or Fall 2026 terms.
What you'll do#
- Assist with creator, influencer, and curator outreach, including rate negotiation coordination and payment administration.
- Support content ideation and creation for marketing campaigns.
- Edit short-form and long-form social media content using CapCut and Adobe Premiere.
- Help develop marketing proposals and campaign presentations for M&A label clients.
- Track campaign performance using internal and third-party marketing analytics tools.
- Communicate marketing ideas to record label and partner teams.
- Organize and maintain digital files and assets.
- Participate in internal and external calls, documenting notes and action items.
- Assist with paid advertising setup, optimization, and reporting.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Music Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and digital culture.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, including Sheets, Docs, and Drive.
- Experience with content editing tools such as CapCut, Canva, or Photoshop.
- Familiarity with house, dance, and electronic music genres and culture is preferred.
- Prior internship or work experience in music, entertainment, or marketing is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (must be able to report to the Los Angeles office 2-3 times per week).
- Schedule: 10–23 hours per week.
- Duration: 3–4 months during the Summer or Fall 2026 terms.
