About the role#
Corning’s Corporate Services Technology Center is looking for an intern to join our team for the Summer 2027 term. You will work within the Workplace Services Division (WPS) to support software systems, databases, and emerging artificial intelligence tools. This role involves collaborating with teams across Engineering, Facilities, Global Real Estate, and Information Technology to maintain and optimize the tools they use every day.
What you'll do#
- Support the exploration and deployment of AI-based tools to improve WPS processes and employee experience.
- Identify opportunities to use AI to streamline repetitive tasks.
- Assist with data validation, data entry, and basic data analysis for internal business applications.
- Use Databricks, SQL, or other scripting languages to support reporting, data extraction, and workflow improvements.
- Assist in administering and maintaining enterprise applications and workflow tools.
- Support configuration, testing, and rollout of software updates, including sandbox validation and user acceptance testing.
What you'll need#
- Currently on track for a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar technology area.
- Knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts.
- An understanding of software systems and databases.

- This position is based in Corning, New York.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
