About the role#
This is a full-time summer internship based in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. You will join the Harrodsburg Supply Chain Department to support improvement processes. The role involves working on both individual and team projects across planning, inventory control, warehousing, transportation, and business processes.
What you'll do#
- Analyze capacity, inventory levels, and order promise metrics.
- Develop theories and recommend solutions to improve supply chain performance.
- Apply supply chain concepts and tools to gain a fundamental understanding of processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, commercial, and manufacturing departments.
- Use rigorous methodologies such as problem analysis, risk assessment, and DMAIC to deliver results.
- Lead or support business process improvements to reduce cost and complexity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS program for Supply Chain, MIS, Finance, or a related certification or minor.
- Standing as a rising junior or higher.
- Analytical capabilities and the ability to use data to drive solutions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- A working knowledge of basic statistics.
- Academic or practical background in supply chain concepts.
- Strong written, oral, and presentation skills.

- Compensation: $1,635.00 - $3,185.00 biweekly.
