    About the role#

    As a Melting/Forming Process Engineering Intern, you will learn and manage melting and delivery system processes for production lines. This role focuses on process control, discipline, and continuous improvement. You will provide technical expertise to address manufacturing challenges through data-driven problem solving and cross-departmental collaboration.

    What you'll do#

    • Oversee melting and delivery system processes for production lines.
    • Maintain process control and recommend process improvement initiatives.
    • Solve process issues through data analysis, experimentation, and collaboration with subject matter experts.
    • Develop and update engineering and operations documentation to maintain ISO compliance.
    • Provide training for the operations workforce regarding process or equipment changes.
    • Actively engage in plant safety initiatives.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a BS or MS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
    • Strong scientific and engineering skills, specifically in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and material science.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and interpreting results.
    • Experience with experimental design and applying engineering principles.
    • Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Harrodsburg, Kentucky.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Compensation: Paid position with a biweekly range of $1,635.00 to $3,185.00.
    • Note: This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
