About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Painted Post, New York. You will work within the Manufacturing, Technology and Engineering division, contributing to the design, engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems. This role involves both independent work and collaboration within cross-functional teams.
What you'll do#
- Create and document design basis requirements.
- Design mechanical components and assemblies.
- Manage project documentation throughout the lifecycle of a system.
- Identify and specify commercially available equipment and system components.
- Participate in the full project cycle, including startup, commissioning, and final handover of mechanical systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a junior or higher in a bachelor’s Mechanical Engineering program.
- Ability to travel domestically as required by project scope.
- Prior industrial or internship experience is preferred.
- Experience with project management, Microsoft Office, and Solidworks CAD software is preferred.
- A methodical, organized approach to work, combined with practical judgment.
Location & details#
- Location: Painted Post, New York.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
