About the role#
This summer internship offers the opportunity to support engineering projects involving polymer materials, adhesives, coatings, and manufacturing processes. You will work alongside engineers and scientists to develop a deeper understanding of materials through hands-on laboratory testing and data analysis.
What you'll do#
- Support laboratory investigations focused on polymers, adhesives, and coatings.
- Prepare samples and conduct material characterization testing.
- Assist with experimental planning, execution, and data collection.
- Analyze experimental results to identify trends and draw conclusions.
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to solve technical problems.
- Document your findings through technical reports and presentations for the project team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.
- Completion of at least two years of your degree program.
- Availability for a 10-12 week internship during the summer of 2027.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
- Strong interest in materials science and polymer engineering.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Compensation: This is a paid position with a biweekly pay range of $1,635.00 to $3,185.00, determined by location, position nature, and year in school.
