About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Charlotte, North Carolina. You will work on-site for 10 weeks to support our supply chain organization. This role offers practical experience in forecasting, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration within a global business environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the development and maintenance of short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
- Analyze historical sales trends to identify demand drivers, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare and organize data for planning reviews and investigate forecast variances.
- Collaborate with Commercial, Product Line Management, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to gather business inputs.
- Monitor key performance metrics and maintain demand planning systems.
- Participate in demand review meetings and document key actions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects for reporting and data quality.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college program for Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or Business Administration.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Availability to work on-site for 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and time management skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
- Initiative and a strong desire to learn.
- Interest in pursuing a career at Corning after graduation.
