About the role#
The Manufacturing IT team at the Phoenix Solar Plant is looking for an intern to support projects that improve the use of data, digital tools, and workflows. You will gain hands-on experience in a technical manufacturing environment while contributing to analytics, process documentation, and the evaluation of new digital tools.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, validate, and summarize data from manufacturing and operational systems.
- Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Identify opportunities to simplify reporting and improve workflows through digital tools.
- Support process documentation, knowledge capture, and standardization activities.
- Partner with team members to gather requirements and support project execution.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies, processes, and business concepts quickly.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Availability for 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
