About the role#
As a Digital & IT Intern at our Wilmington manufacturing plant, you will work directly with our Manufacturing IT team. You will support onsite development efforts that help our plant operations run more effectively. This role offers hands-on experience in a professional manufacturing environment where you will apply your technical skills to real-world operational challenges.
What you'll do#
- Partner with Manufacturing IT, engineering, and operations teams to identify and address onsite development needs.
- Support the creation and improvement of software, applications, and technical interfaces for plant processes.
- Assist with the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, coding, testing, and implementation.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and find practical ways to improve existing systems.
- Document technical requirements, testing results, and support procedures to ensure project clarity.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- A quick ability to learn new technologies, business processes, and technical concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
