About the role#
The Legal Services Fellow assists the Consumer Technology Association legal department with daily corporate functions. This is a full-time, paid fellowship based on-site in Arlington, Virginia. The position operates on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research on antitrust, data privacy, and gaming laws.
- Manage the contract process, including proofing, routing, editing, and monitoring execution.
- Help staff implement new contract management software.
- Draft cease and desist letters and support intellectual property enforcement actions.
- Assist with discovery requests and research for branding projects.
- Provide administrative support and maintain legal files.
What you'll need#
- A Bachelor’s degree and completion of at least one year of law school.
- Knowledge of legal terminology and document formats.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Prior experience in a professional office setting.
- Coursework in corporate and contract law is preferred.
