About the role#
This summer internship provides experience in both office and field settings. You will learn about the construction projects handled by Condon-Johnson & Associates. Your schedule will balance office tasks and field assignments based on current project needs. Expect to work 40 to 60 hours per week while in the field.
What you'll do#
In the office, you will report to project managers to assist with:
- Takeoffs and Excel summaries
- Job walks and pre-bid meetings
- Project costs
- Project submittals
- Crane pick plans
In the field, you will work under the supervision of superintendents to handle:
- Layout tasks
- Quality control
- Daily reports
- Time cards
- Tracking daily costs versus income
- Manual labor

- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program
