About the role#
Combined Metals Company, LLC is hiring a full-time Engineering Intern to join our team in Elgin, Illinois. This is an on-site, paid role focused on supporting our metal processing and distribution operations.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the design, development, and testing of metal products and processes.
- Analyze material properties and performance alongside the engineering team.
- Conduct research to support process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations.
- Participate in quality control activities and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with production and quality departments to support daily operations.
- Troubleshoot technical issues directly on the shop floor.
- Observe all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Complete other duties as assigned to meet the goals of the ESM department.
