About the role#
The Columbus Crew is looking for college students to join the team as a Ticket Sales and Service Intern. This position provides firsthand experience in professional sports operations, including ticket sales, fan service, and game day coordination. You will work under the supervision of the Director of Client Services and the Manager of Season Ticket Sales. This is an unpaid internship for the Winter 2027 term, running from January through April.
What you'll do#
- Handle daily correspondence with guests and clients.
- Provide customer service to meet and exceed fan expectations.
- Support administrative tasks like data entry, filing, and mailing.
- Research strategies for customer retention.
- Help plan and run marketing events and promotions.
- Assist the sales staff with order fulfillment.
- Participate in ticket sales activities, including receptions and game day entertainment.
- Contribute ideas and proposals for ticket sales plans.
What you'll need#
- You must be a college student receiving academic credit for this internship.
- A background in business administration, marketing, communications, or customer service is encouraged.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and an interest in working in a sports environment.
- A creative and outgoing approach to your work.
