DOD SkillBridge Program - Sales Internship

About the role#

The DOD SkillBridge Program Sales Internship offers active military personnel the opportunity to gain professional experience within Coloplast’s field sales and marketing organizations. During this program, interns will support new business development, participate in rotations across various business units—including Veteran’s Affairs and Continence Care—and gain exposure to the medical equipment manufacturing industry.

What you'll do#

• Assist field sales and marketing teams with business development activities.
• Educate and train physicians, surgeons, hospital personnel, and office staff on the technical aspects of Coloplast products.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare professionals, including surgeons, doctors, and nurses, to support product usage.
• Manage account information and administrative tasks using CRM tools and other systems.
• Maintain accurate records, including inventory, sales reporting, and expense management.
• Interact with healthcare staff in clinical settings, including operating rooms, to provide product-related support and expertise.

What you'll need#

• Must be an active military member and an approved participant in the DOD SkillBridge Program.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and overnight up to 50% of the time.
• Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Health Administration, or Biomedical Engineering.
